Carl Giavanti Consulting is a targeted winery consulting practice. I focus on consumer direct marketing and wine media communications. My goal is to help my clients sell wine Direct to Consumer, and build their brands by gaining recognition and publicity in their key markets. I consult, recommend, manage, and help promote consumer sales programs for my winery clients. I will not waste your time and do not charge for initial evaluations. If there is a basis for further discussion, I will submit a proposal for consideration and review it with you in detail. I work on a hand shake agreement with many clients, and can provide an NDA and services agreements upon request.

I’m a member of several wine industry associations including Chehalem Mountain Winegrowers Association, Yamhill-Carlton AVA, Napa Valley Vintners and formerly helped establish both the PDX Urban Wineries and Mid-Valley Wineries Associations. My business background is in corporate software sales and computing services. I spent over 20 years building relationships with business executives in many industries and companies of all sizes. My primary skills are direct sales, marketing, project management and public relations, all of which have transferred well to DTC marketing and PR. I’ve been working in the wine industry since 2008.
